In all the homes we shoot, we find ourselves magnetically drawn to a great kitchen. After all, the kitchen is the heart of the home – a busy, functional space that facilitates all manner of daily activities, from a speedy Monday morning breakfast, to messy after school snacks, to a long, slow cooked weekend lunch. Here, more than any other room in the house, things really have to work.
Great design is about a perfect balance of form and function. That fine balance, more often than not, isn’t achieved by adding bells and whistles, but by paring back. Simplifying. Stripping a design back to its bare essentials. (Yes, Steve Jobs was onto something).
It is this sentiment which has inspired the new ArtLine series from Miele. This supremely understated range, consisting of an Oven, Speed Oven, Steam Combination Oven and Warming Drawer, showcases modern minimalism at its best…. without a handle in sight! Instead, the oven appliances open at the lightest touch.
To celebrate the launch of Miele’s new ArtLine series, we’re giving one reader thechance to win a $1,500 Miele online store gift voucher, along with a selection of kitchen accessories featured in this shoot!
