If two heads are better than one, then 13 heads must be a force to be reckoned with! Dreamed up by furniture designer Anne-Claire Petre (Anaca Studio) and photographer Elizabeth Bull (One Fine Print) the Design Co-Op brings together 13 Melbourne design businesses to get real about the industry.
A curated weekend of wisdom from interiors experts, the Melbourne Design Week satellite event consists of a series of panel discussions to give you the inside scoop on all things interior design, as well as tips and tricks they’ve picked up along the way. With three hour-long sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday, topics covered include making the most of rental spaces, the real life of a design studio from wins to outright fails, leading social and environmental change through design, and styling a thoughtful home.
Making best use of this collaboration, The Design Co-Op panel events will take place in a curated space that will be open as a gallery to the public over the weekend. It will feature a chic showcase of products styled by interiors aficionados Lauren Li (Sisällä), Manuela Millan (Meanwhile in Melbourne) and Fiona Parry Jones (Von Haus).
