In an Australian first, you can now get Italian label Decoratori Bassanesi’s designer tiles from stone supplier Artedomus — in four intricate styles!

It’s a natural addition to the Artedomus stable. Though the company now sources and stocks unique stones, tiles, architectural surfaces and products from across the globe, it was originally founded in 1985 with the purpose of importing exclusive Italian wall and floor finishes to Australia.

Now, designers and home renovators alike can get their hands on luxurious ceramic tiles from another time-honoured Italian brand that’s graced Australian shores for the first time ever. Decoratori Bassanesi has been crafting beautiful handmade tiles since it was established more than 30 years ago, and is revered across the design industry for its textural detailing and dynamic patterns.

The four exquisite collections on offer at Artedomus are reflective of Decoratori Bassanesi’s ability to continuously evolve over the years to keep pace with contemporary aesthetics.

Those with an affinity for texture will love the ‘Wabi-Sabi’ collection, featuring a dense yet unassumingly light weave. Another highlight of the new offering is the award-winning ‘Segments’ collection — it boasts a geometric design with strong graphic elements and tactile qualities, available in both small and large patterns.

Also part of the range is ‘Copenhagen‘ — a soft, minimal Scandinavian-style design — and ‘Windy‘, featuring textural lines that create an understated ripple effect.

The four collections are the result of incredible collaborations between Decoratori Bassanesi and  a slew of household design names from around the world, including Milanese designer and art director Federica Biasi; fellow Italian designer Guglielmo Poletti; Danish design firm Norm Architects; and Oki Sato of Japanese studio Nendo.
