Bellarine Peninsula winery Circulus Wine have announced their 2024 vintage, alongside an exclusive wine club, and a private dinner series.

This vintage is the largest release to date for the boutique winery — following three years of sold out vintages — producing 1000 cases of cool climate, maritime-influenced pinot noir, chardonnay, cabernet franc, syrah, and fumé blanc.

‘The 2024 vintage is truly special — it captures everything we love about our site and our sustainability-focused, minimal intervention approach,’ says John White, Circulus Wine founder and vigneron. ‘The season provided ideal conditions that allowed our vines to express themselves beautifully, resulting in wines with remarkable depth and elegance.’

Coinciding with the vintage release, Circulus Wine have established an exclusive wine club, offering access to regular shipments, limited-release wines, special pricing, and unique experiences. ‘It seeks to be more about community and connection than moving large volumes of wine,’ says John. Additional benefits will be offered to the first 100 wine club members.

Circulus Wine have also announced a private dinner series, starting with an event at Tommy Gunns in Barwon Heads on August 21, limited to 40 wine club members and their guests. The evening will include a guided tasting with the winemaker and a chance to connect with likeminded guests.

The private dinner series will soon expand to Melbourne and Sydney in 2025 and 2026, with each event featuring different venues, seasonal menus, and wine selection.

John founded Circulus Wine following a cancer diagnosis in 2020. This life changing news inspired John — who had left winemaking to work in finance for 30 years — to return to his lifelong passion, and Circulus Wine was born.

Surrounded by water on all sides, the location of the Circulus Wine vineyard creates an interesting maritime-influenced microclimate dominated by persistent cool breezes, which lengthen the growing season.
