One of the best parts about Laminex products is that the options are virtually endless. Not only can these versatile laminate surfaces be used to create anything from a kitchen benchtop to bedroom joinery, but the Australian brand’s expansive colourways are always growing.
This year, the team at Laminex looked to the landscapes just outside our homes to create the 2024 Colour Collection.
All corners of Australia’s unique beaches and bushlands were explored as inspiration for the nine new hues that have just been added to their range.
Laminex product design manager Neil Sookee says the timeless beauty of nature felt like a perfect reference point for the collection, which builds on Laminex’s famously durable offerings.
‘It’s about creating designs that avoid fads, and that are intended for long-term use,’ Neil adds.
Rottenest Island’s soft pink sand was the catalyst behind Laminex Rocky Bay, while Laminex Outback Clay and Laminex Coolum Sand also nod to organic and earthy tones.
The colours of Australia’s native flora and fauna feature heavily too, with a chocolate brown named Laminex Platypus, and a palette of calming muted greens in Laminex Eucalypt, Laminex Gumnut and Laminex Daintree. Meanwhile Laminex Macedon Mist and Laminex Bluestone showcase subtle blues.
Each of the options from the 2024 Colour Collection is available in a selection of durable laminate finishes, so you can customise your favourite one for any space.
